I grew up on Anne McCaffrey’s books, and now I feel like I’m following in her footsteps. Mystically Engineered has people with psionic powers and dragons, along with space travel. I’m sure I was influenced by McCaffrey’s stories such as The Rowan and the Dragonriders of Pern as I worked on this book.

I’m over 2/3 done with the second book in the series. I just have a little more writing and some editing to do. The stakes go up in Book Two, with a new enemy for humanity to contend with, and hints of more trouble to come.
